Neither the interested party or any member of his or her household may have received this benefit or any other housing support.
The support to be granted takes the form of a non-repayable subsidy and/or the transfer of a plot of land with infrastructure.

Support for renting urban buildings for permanent housing by young people.
Singular individuals under 35 years or, in the case of young couples who are not legally separated or in a non-marital partnership, the person who is under 35 years.

Support for renting urban buildings for permanent housing.

1 August to 15 September.
– Citizens who have permanently resided in the Autonomous Region of the Azores for at least three years;
– The applicant and the members of the household must reside permanently in the house concerned in the application;
– Neither the applicant nor any member of the household may be the owners or tenants of other building or autonomous fraction that could be used as residence.
The incentive is granted in the form of a non-repayable monthly grant, to households that meet the conditions, for a period of one year, and may be renewed for the same period, up to a maximum of four consecutive renewals.

The purpose of this program is to resolve situations of severe housing need by renting, under a supported rental scheme, housing acquired or built by the Autonomous Region of the Azores or by sub-leasing housing leased by the Autonomous Region of the Azores on the real estate market.

– Citizens who have permanently resided in the Autonomous Region of the Azores for at least three years;
– Be considered a household with severe housing needs;
– Be considered a household in need;
– None of the members of the household may own, in any capacity, other housing that could meet the housing needs of the household.

– Demonstrate economic-financial capacity to cover rental payments, according to the defined income-expenditure ratios;
– Neither the applicant nor any member of his or her household may own, in any way, other housing that could meet the housing needs of the household.
