The Regional Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment in the Azores has the mission to promote equality and non-discrimination between men and women at work, in employment and in professional training, as well as maternity and paternity protection and conciliation of professional activity with family life, through collaboration in the application of legal and conventional provisions in this area, in the private, public and cooperative sectors, and in response to consultations and communications promoted by public and private entities.
