The PROSA Qualifica program aims to improve the employability of low employability and socially fragile workers by running occupational activities.
Portuguese citizens, European Economic Area citizens and Third Country Nationals who hold residence permits.
– Be aged 45 or over;
– Be a beneficiary of Social Insertion Income;
– Have a proven disability;
– With proven social problems.
The application period is determined by order of the member of the government responsible for employment. The workers placement takes place after the approval of the applications.
12 months, which may be extended for a further 12 months, for people aged 55 years or more or for people with a proven disability superior to 60%.
For each unemployed person that is integrated into a project under the scope of the PROSA Qualifica program, a monthly assistance is provided in the form of a non-repayable grant, the value of which corresponds to the Guaranteed Monthly Minimum Wage in force in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.

The CTTS programme aims to integrate recipients of unemployment benefits into work that is socially necessary.

The aim of the SEI Program is the professional and social insertion of unemployed people who receive subsidies, from the PROSA.Qualifica program.

The Employment Cradle Program aims to temporarily replace self-employed or employed workers in a situation of initial parental leave, initial parental leave to be enjoyed by one parent if the other is unable to work, or due to adoption, with beneficiaries of unemployment benefits.

Duration limited to the parental leave period.
